Searching for Athletes
How do I search for a specific athlete or team?
Select one of the many "search buttons" on the home page or click on any of the sports listed in the left hand column under "I Play…" to browse through athlete profiles.
- When you click on any of the search buttons, you will be able to search by athlete personal information (e.g. athlete city, state, name, username, etc.). Enter as many fields as you would like and then click submit.
- You can also search by sports information (e.g. sport, team name, competition level, sport specific statistics, etc.). Enter as many fields as you would like and then click submit.
- If you don't want to navigate so many fields, click on "simple search" at the top of the "advanced search" page.
- When you click on the simple search button, you will be able to browse by sport or browse by keyword.
- Users can also enter a keyword on the top of the home page for a simple search.
- If users click on any of the sports listed under the "I Play" box (on the left hand column of the home page) users can browse athletes by sport (most recently created profiles will appear first).

What if I'm a coach, how do I search for a certain type of athlete?
- Select one of the many "search buttons" on the home page or click on any of the sports listed in the left hand column under "I Play…" to browse through athlete profiles.
- When you click on any of the search buttons, you will be able to search by athlete personal information (e.g. athlete city, state, name, username, etc.). Enter as many fields as you would like and then click submit.
- You can also search by sports information (e.g. sport, team name, competition level, sport specific statistics, etc.). Enter as many fields as you would like and then click submit.
- For example, coaches could search for a field hockey goalie, living in Minnesota, with more than 5 shut outs for the season. Then click submit and see all of the search results.

What is browse all athletes?
On the left hand column of the home page, users or visitors will see many sports displayed under "Browse All Sports." By clicking on any of the listed sports, users and visitors can browse through all athlete and team profiles for that sport. Profiles are listed in chronological order (with the most recently created profiles at the top of page one). For more detailed searching, users and visitors can click on "advanced search" or "simple search" (see above for details).
